Sometimes the best DIYs are born from problems I encounter in the design studio while I’m flinging fabric scraps at 3AM. Here’s one project that was born when I was struggling to weigh down the corners of my pattern paper, while drafting patterns for clothing designs.
I found a few lovely, smooth-surfaced rocks while strolling in the East Village and applied some puff paint in (an attempted) henna motif. The blue glitter didn’t really deliver, but I love the other two! Check out the simple process below.
You can also put these in your garden, place them on your desk, or use them as all-purpose paperweights.
Stay tuned for more DIY action next monday!
